Key Focal: Dr. Qamar Khan

Website: https://www.street2school.org/

Street2School gives underprivileged children in Pakistan a chance to get the education they deserve by supporting them and their struggling families. There are a staggering 22 million underprivileged children on the streets of Pakistan. Our mission is to provide free education to the children on the street and to discourage child labor. There are currently 2 projects underway. In the first project, 40 children in Muzaffarabad, AK are being sponsored. Their education is paid for and their families receive a small stipend so as not to send the child away to work. In the second project, the primary school in Patika village near Muzaffarabad is being extended to secondary school with one new class being added each year. This year, the entire 5th grade graduating class was able to continue on for 6th grade instead of dropping out.
