Khuddar Pakistan (KPak) was started by a group of professionals in the USA, UK, and Pakistan, to transform the success of the Pakistani diaspora into a meaningful impact across Pakistan. Founded in 2020, KPak is led by professionals from diverse backgrounds who work to build stronger communities at home and abroad, with a shared culture of strategic giving and inspiring social change.

Uzma Almakky is an entrepreneur and a Silicon Valley technology visionary. Uzma believes passionately in software’s ability to change the world for the better. In 1992, she founded DOTCOM, creating a new paradigm in the early ’90s for scale computing, with purpose-built, large-scale data center solutions, integrating hardware, Enterprise Software Development, Mobile Application Development, and IT Consultancy - Uzma led the company as Founder & CEO for 25 years. In 1995, she started a non-profit in Silicon Valley providing training programs to impart the knowledge and skills to teams to keep up with the speed at which industries were changing. iCoachu.us is fully remote-ready and online, bringing the best learning from the innovation ecosystem to you on demand. Since 1997, she has also running a successful manufacturing factory of Industrial Paper and Board in Pakistan.

The Silicon Valley Entrepreneur has backed several initiatives through her Not-for-profit called Center for Research in Vocational Education (CRVE) with a focus on Healthcare, Medical Research, and Reforming Public School systems in the Bay Area and Pakistan for sustainable human development.

Dr. Qamar Khan

Dr. Qamar Khan

Dr. Qamar Khan is a Yale-trained board-certified Nephrologist practicing in the United States. He has been practicing medicine in the States for the past 30 years. He has been involved in introducing and promoting machine-free dialysis called Peritoneal dialysis in Pakistan. He has been doing it in association with the help of his professor from Yale Dr Fred Finkelstein who is considered a world authority in Peritoneal dialysis and a renowned nephrologist in Pakistan.

Dr. Khan is also running a non-profit organization, Street to School, to help sponsor the education of children from under-resourced families, mostly orphans in Pakistan to prevent child labor. He has founded a free medical lectures site eMedTalks.org to provide quality clinical lectures to medical students and doctors all over the world using a unique app/software Voicethread.

Muhammad Abdullah

Muhammad Abdullah

Muhammad Abdullah, a seasoned professional, currently heads Lenovo's Global Business Intelligence and Advanced Analytics team. With a rich background, Abdullah contributed three years to advising on major education and healthcare projects in the Middle East and Africa, collaborating with both private and government clients. A master's graduate from The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, he is also an avid squash player and active in social work.

Abdullah has hands-on experience in humanitarian efforts. He actively participated in ground operations in Balakot following the devastating earthquake in Pakistan in 2005. Additionally, he volunteered during the internally displaced persons (IDPs) crisis, working in Swabi Shah Mansoor camp alongside the Red Crescent to rehabilitate those affected by the crisis. Abdullah's dedication extends beyond the boardroom, reflecting a commitment to making a positive impact in the community and beyond.

She is a natural community builder and hopes to build more bridges through philanthropy. In her free time, she likes to draw art, do creative writing, and travel.

Fatima Khan

Dr. Ghazala Sadiq has worked in US corporations including AT&T, Alcatel, Deloitte, and Allscripts for 30 years, and with Higher Education Commission (HEC) in Pakistan for 4 years. Her skills include Operations Research, Statistics, Predictive Modeling, Data Mining, Natural Language Processing, Social Media Analytics, Cluster Analysis, Text Analytics, Data Visualization, Project Management. She holds a US patent on network switching algorithms and has a few patents in the pipeline related to clinical data deidentification methods. Ghazala is a registered mentor with Empower Pakistan to help young Pakistani entrepreneurs bring their ideas to market.

Her interests are related to traveling and outdoor adventures such as trekking, mountain climbing, and running. She has completed a few marathons (42 km each) and climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, and Mt. Everest Base Camp in Nepal and Mt. Fuji in Japan.

Ms. Fatima Khan is a seasoned corporate and community leader who has dedicated her life to serving underprivileged communities. She migrated to the United States in the late 70s and, together with her husband, built a successful software business. Ms. Khan has also worked at Northwestern Hospital system in Chicago and has raised three successful daughters.

 In alignment with her passion for empowering women and serving the underprivileged, Ms. Khan completed a Master's degree from the Hartford Seminary and is designated as a Muslim Chaplain. She has helped Comprehensive Disaster Response Services (CDRS) establish an orphanage called House of Blessings in Islamabad and continues her efforts to promote girls' education in Pakistan. Ms. Khan is currently involved with helping the disadvantaged with Hasanat, a nonprofit organization in Pakistan.
